Kosmos GERMAN IMPORT LP (All Score Media)- By far the most surprising release this time around to me is this collection of music from German science fiction films of the 60's and 70's by composers Earl Ernst Sasse and Gunther Fischer. Includes an array of orchestral music and pop with a space bent. Really great stuff here! Tracks are from the films "Der Schweigende Stern" ('60), "Signale - Ein Weltraumabenteuer" ('70), "Eolomea" ('72), "Im Staub der Sterne" ('76) and a few others you've probably never heard of. In particular there are 2 amazingly morose ethereal female chorus and guitar tracks from "Im Staub..." that was like nothing I had quite heard before! The music runs the gamut from more accessible pop to the later sounding pre-disco electronica. Includes very informative liner notes in German and English. LP comes in snazzy gatefold cover! $19.98

Mondo Drive-In Hits LP (Blood Red)-16 garage & surf bands cover their fave B-movie tunes! LP is $9.98, CD is $14.98

Peter Thomas- Moonflowers And Miniskirts GERMAN CD (Marina)-My personal fave of the German Peter Thomas compilations, this one leans more towards uptempo psyche-pop from his studio LP's and soundtracks. Has a few groovy female vocal numbers including "Black Power" with the first ever Donna Summer vocal! 19 tracks and comes with a nice 8 page booklet with liner notes and pics. $18.98

F= FAIR; scratches that result in noticeable noise

P= POOR; playable, but just barely
