of the Beast Creatures (1985)
Directed by Michael Stanley, USA Remember that story in "Trilogy of Terror"
where Karen Black was chased around for 15 minutes by a spear-wielding 1 foot
tall native jungle monster-man doll with sharp teeth? Well, if you liked that
scene, then you may love this movie, which features an entire island full of hundreds
of little buggers that seem to be close cousins to said jungle mo'fo'. This low-budget
period piece film tells the story of a group of people surviving a luxury liner
shipwreck only to be stranded on an island full of the horrible aforementioned
"beast creatures"! Most of the running time consists of the survivors
being gradually picked-off as they fend for their lives from an onslaught of tiny
terror attacks! You will either find this film somewhat creepy or ridiculously
hilarious depending on your outlook of such things! Rated R

The Curious Female
(aka Curious Females, 1970) ENGLISH LANGUAGE Directed
by Paul Rapp, USA Now,
this is an odd little title. The Curious Female is a blend of sci-fi and nudie
cutie. The master computer (a poor man's Big Brother) controls an earthquake damaged
world in 2177. To study lost sexual morals and customs, people watch vintage films
in secret. In this "new" world, no one is a virgin after thirteen. The film is
fairly amusing at times and some valid societal views are addressed (racism, for
example). I must admit that I was hoping to see more of Rapp's vision of 2177.
There is a good deal of female and some male nudity, however. The sex isn't graphic
or drawn out but you get the point. That being said, I found myself entertained
for about ninety minutes and what else can you really ask? ~Melissa Kusia Starring
Angelique Pettyjohn (who has some nice nude scenes), Charlene Jones, Bunny Allister,

Just Imagine (1930)

in the future time of 1980!! A present day man wakes up in the year 1980 ("Futurama"
style!) in a world of space travel, vending machines that sell human babies, and
more! Old movies that are set in "the future" have always been a fave of mine

recommended!! | The
Killer Shrews (1959) Directed by Ray Kellogg, USA Surprisingly
effective sci-fi thriller set on an island, this one has an unfair reputation
mainly due to what's been written by the idiot Medved brothers and other critics
about the low-budget monster "effects". I won't spoil it here, but for
me I thought this film had a creepy anxiety-provoking feel to it. A group of people
are trapped in a house (ala "Night Of The Living Dead") on an island
with hundreds of the giant hungry beasties trying to get in for a human chow-down!
Certainly this film is no epic, but for my dough I thought the "shrews"
were rather disturbing! Hell, this film is scarier than anything playing at the
shopping mall right now!

Attempting to retrieve a sunken submarine with atomic missiles onboard from the
bottom of the ocean somehow causes the lost island of Atlantis to rise in a giant
glass dome whereupon many humans are turned into violent gangs of "Road Warrior"-esque
killers! Whew! Christopher Connelly and Tony King are assassins for hire that
get caught up in the madness! Gioia Scola is the pretty scientist who holds a
secret that the Atlantians need in order to complete their domination of the world!

Warriors 2000 (1985) ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by Marc Smith and Sompote
Sands, US / Japan / Thailand This
nutty live-action children's tv movie was edited together using clips from several
of the later "Ultraman" tv series and feature films and horribly dubbed
into this entertaining and juvenile monster matinee mess! This was reportedly
released unbeknownst to original Japanese producers Tsuburaya who promptly sued.
For some folks this was the only way to see Ultraman footage for many years! A
real mess! Hard to find!! |

(1976) ENGLISH LANGUAGE VERSION Directed
by Charles Matton, France Offbeat and unique sex & sci-fi fantasy film
with Udo Kier. Alien beings disguised as beautiful, elegant women invade Earth.
Artsy and unusual for this type of film. The somewhat juvenile "humorous"
English dubbing (ie-
"Not on the Formica! It came all the way from Uranus!") is
fortunately not as bad as it could have been and doesn't ruin the beautiful photography
or surreal ambiance. Also starring Dayle Haddon, François Dunoyer, Jocelyne Boisseau,
Ginette Leclerc and Isabelle Mercanton. (see below) Rated R |

(1976) 102 MINUTE
FRENCH LANGUAGE VERSION, NO SUBTITLES Directed by Charles Matton, France
This original French version is drastically different then the English version
we offer! A seemingly more serious approach that reportedly tells a somewhat different
story and does away with the English dubbed jokes. The sex scenes are a bit more
graphic as well although still "softcore". Definitely the most unique
French erotic film ever made! The picture looks a bit dark on this French version
but still quite watchable. Available separately or pick up both versions (see
above), the French and the English, in a double set for $25.00! Rated R |
| | Star
Virgin (1988) IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE ONLY, Japan Cheezy effects abound
in this fun low-budget sci-fi adventure! The star is a slightly pudgy cute young
girl who transforms into a Wonder Woman-like super- hero! She fights a relentless
evil robot and several strange creatures! The lack of English doesn't really hamper
the fun. Apparently there was also a video game that tied in with this movie. |

Supersonic
Man (1979) Directed by Juan Piquer Simón, Spain Kronos, a Superman-esque

spent about $1.98 on the "special" effects. For lovers of bad cinema
only! Makes "Superman" look truly super! DVD-R

The Time Travelers
(1964) Directed by Ib Melchoir, USA Decent sci-fi cult fave about a group
of scientists traveling 107 years into a nuclear war devastated future. What's
left of the human race live underground and, with the help of strange looking
androids, fends off the mutants up above. The scientists try to go back to the
present to fix things but end up getting trapped in the space / time continuum!
I saw this on UHF television in the early 1970s and it blew my pre-teen mind!

Turkish Star Wars
(Dünyayi

IN TURKISH LANGUAGE WITH ENGLISH SUBTITLES Directed by Çetin Inanç, Turkey
If you were given 30 bucks to shoot a "Star Wars" remake, finished the
film, edited in some "borrowed" spaceship footage from the original
"Star wars" and then accidentally dropped the finished film into a blender
on the way to the screening room it might resemble this. I loved it! |

Into Space starring Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot (1970)
ENGLISH DUBBED Directed by Minoru Yamada, Japan If you were a fan of the
"Ultraman" t.v. series from Japan you may also remember Johnny Sokko (Mitsunobu
Kaneko), a young boy working for the government agency Unicorn. With his giant
sphinx-headed robot that obeys only his commands, they fight the evil alien Gargoyle
gang as they attempt to conquer the world using a barrage of enormous (and hilariously
fake looking) creatures! Compiled from about 10 episodes of the 60s t.v. show
"Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot" (called "Jaianto robo"
in Japan), this fast-paced English dubbed feature-length tv movie has more giant
monsters than 3 Godzilla movies combined, plus some of the most ridiculous English
dubbing this side of Tokyo! And the good news is that this version runs a whopping
98 minutes! So roll over Hyata and tell Fuji the news, Johnny Sokko and his flying
robot are BACK! |

by “Mondo Cane” producer Prosperi, this fictional movie also has some “real” animal
stuff going on, so it’s definitely not for all tastes. Rated R |

ever! Bigfoot (Mimmo Crao), a giant Kong-like being who's face looks more like

from their pickup truck! Now, THAT'S scarey! but I digress...) He takes a liking
to cute Antonella Interlenghi and, after being taken captive, breaks loose in
